The BRCGS (formerly BRC) standard for packaging materials, which stands for British Retail Consortium Global Standards, focuses on the requirements to guarantee food safety by applying the HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) principles specific to this sector of the food industry.
Due to the move to our new location in Zoetermeer, we are awaiting recertification. This has been scheduled, but is still some time away. Naturally, our working method remains unchanged and we ensure that the packaging meets all the requirements for being allowed to come into direct contact with food.

FSC® is an ecological label that shows whether a paper or carton product comes from a forest that is managed according to strict environmental, social, and economic standards. Rutgers is FSC (FSC® C018419) certified. This means we can guarantee that we always work with good paper and carton that has been produced in a responsible manner.
